SAT Subject Test 시험 구성

 

모든 SAT Subject Test는 multiple choice test 이며, 시험 시간은 1시간이다 .

 

Biology E/M

Biology test는 Biology E와 Biology M의 두 가지가 있는데, 두 시험 모두 cellular and molecular biology, ecology, classical genetics, organismal biology, and evolution and diversity 에 관한 60 개의 multiple-choice 문제를 포함한다.
Biology E는 ecology 에 관한 추가 20문항이 있고, Biology M은 molecular biology에 관한 추가 20문항이 있다.

 

Literature

Literature Test는 6~8개 제시문에 대한 60개의 multiple-choice 문제로 구성되어 있다.
르네상스와 17세기 문학에 관한 문제 30%, 18, 19세기 문학에 관한 문제 30%, 1900년도 이후 문학에 관한 문제 40%로 구성된다.

 

Math Level 1

Math Level 1은 50개의 multiple-choice 문제로 구성되어 있다.
시험에서 다루는 내용은 다음과 같다.
algebra, geometry (plane Euclidean, three-dimensional, and coordinate), trigonometry, statistics/probability, and miscellaneous topics including logic, elementary number theory, and arithmetic and geometric sequences.

 

Math Level 2

Math Level 2는 50개의 multiple-choice 문제로 구성되어 있다.
시험에서 다루는 내용은 다음과 같다.
algebra, geometry (plane Euclidean, three-dimensional and coordinate), trigonometry, functions, statistics (probability, permutations, combinations), and miscellaneous topics (logic and proof, number theory, sequences, and limits).

 

Physics

Physics는 75개의 multiple-choice 문제로 구성되어 있다.
시험에서 다루는 내용은 다음과 같다.
mechanics; heat, kinetic theory, and thermodynamics; waves; electricity and magnetism; modern physics; and miscellaneous topics (including measurement, math, laboratory skills and history of physics).

 

U.S. History

U.S. history는 90~95개의 multiple-choice 문제로 구성되어 있다.
pre-Columbian 시대부터 1789년까지의 문제 20%, 1790년~1898년까지의 문제 40%, 1899년 이후 현재까지의 문제 40%로 구성되어 있다.

 

World History

World History는 95개의 multiple-choice 문제로 구성되어 있다.
500년 이전까지의 문제 25%, 500~1500년까지의 문제 20%, 1500~1900년까지의 문제 25%, 1900년 이후의 문제 20% 그리고, cross-chronological 문제 10%로 구성되어 있다.

 

Chemistry

Chemistry는 85개의 multiple-choice 문제로 구성되어 있다.
시험에서 다루는 내용은 다음과 같다.
structure of matter, states of matter, reaction types, stoichiometry, equilibrium and reaction rates, thermodynamics, descriptive chemistry, and laboratory.

 

Chinese with Listening

Chinese with Listening은 85개의 multiple-choice 문제로 구성되어 있다.
시험에서 다루는 내용은  listening comprehension, usage, and reading comprehension 이다.

 

French

French는 85개의 multiple-choice 문제로 구성되어 있다.
시험에서 다루는 내용은  vocabulary in context, structure, and reading comprehension 이다.

 

French with Listening

French with Listening은 listening questions 20분, reading comprehension 40분으로 구성된다.
Listening section은 pictures, short dialogues, and long dialogues를 다루고, reading comprehension section은 vocabulary, structure, and reading comprehension을 다룬다.

 

German

German은 80~85개의 multiple-choice 문제로 구성되는데 오직 reading만 있다.

 

German with Listening

Greman with Listening은 short and long dialogues를 다루는 listening questions 20분, vocabulary in context, structure in context, and reading comprehension을 다루는 reading comprehension 40분으로 구성된다.

 

Modern Hebrew

Modern Hebrew는  vocabulary in context, structure in context, and reading comprehension을 다루는 85개의 multiple-choice 문제로 구성되어 있다.

 

Italian

Italian는  vocabulary in context, fill-in-the-blank, and reading comprehension을 다루는 80~85개의 multiple-choice 문제로 구성되어 있다.

 

Japanese with Listening

Japanese with Listening은 listening comprehension, usage, and reading comprehension을 다루는 80~85개의 multiple-choice 문제로 구성되어 있다.

 

Korean with Listening

Korean with Listening은 usage section 20분, reading comprehension 40분으로 구성되며 80~85개의 multiple-choice 문제로 구성되어 있다.

 

Latin

Latin은 70~75개의 multiple-choice 문제로 구성된다.
Translation 65%, derivatives 5%, grammer ans syntax 30%로 구성된다.

 

Spanish

Spanish는 85개의 multiple-choice 문제로 구성된다.
시험에서다루는 내용은 다음과 같다.
vocabulary and structure, paragraph completion, and reading comprehension.

 

Spanish with Listening

Spanish with Listening은 listening section 20분, reading section 40분으로 구성되며, 85개의 multiple-choice 문제로 구성된다.
