AP Center 로 지정되지 않은 학교 학생이 AP를 응시하고자 하는 경우라면, 1~2월 중에 AP Center가 있는 학교에 문의해서 AP 시험 응시 가능 여부를 확인하시기 바랍니다. 올해(2008년)에는 AP 시험 응시자가 증가할 것으로 예상되고, 미리 신청하지 않으면 AP 시험 자체를 보지 못하는 경우가 발생할 수도 있습니다. 아무래도 AP Center로 지정된 학교에서는 다른 학교 지원생 보다는 본교 학생의 지원편의를 봐줄 것이기 때문에 타학교 학생의 경우 신청에 주의를 기울여야 할 것 입니다.
